Resources

A small library of plain-English documents — five short downloads, kept current and posted on the open web as a matter of principle.

We do not produce many publications. A small fund's writing time is mostly absorbed by the quarterly dispatches, the Annual Return, and the cheque book. What follows are the five plain documents we hold up to date and re-publish on the website each March.

A small stack of printed leaflets on a desk beside a fountain pen and a brass ledger, in soft afternoon light through a sash window.

The trust deed of 1963

The four-page foundational document of the Trust, signed at a dining-room table in Fetcham on the fourth of February, 1963. We have not amended it since.

Why we publish these

We publish them because the Charity Commission encourages every registered charity to be open about its governing document, its safeguarding posture, and its complaints procedure — and because we think a fund that asks for small cheques from its neighbours owes its neighbours the courtesy of being legible. Anything we have done that we have not put on the open web is something we would gladly send by post if you wrote to us at Kennel Lane.

The PDFs above are small, plain documents — none of them is long, and none of them contains any personal data. If you find a typo, an out-of-date phone number, or anything else that needs correcting, we would be genuinely grateful to hear about it. Write to [email protected] or ring the Lodge Secretary on 01372 454336.

If something here is unclear

Write to us — we read every message.

The Lodge Secretary will write back within three working days, by letter or email as you prefer.
